TAG is a virtual platform that supports the needs of those who work with children and parents of our scholars and provides a space to address and discuss challenges in public education."
My goal for TAG is to serve as a modern voice for all educators who may sometimes feel underappreciated. It promotes and facilitates collaboration between teachers, students, and parents. Additionally, it seeks to explore the learning community to rekindle the passion for reading and math literacy and fortify the foundation for academic success in our students, to name a few. My friends, there is always room for educators to grow and continue learning how to shape the minds and futures of our young students. Recently, I read a thought-provoking quote by Brian Tracy, a Canadian-American motivational public speaker and self-development author, that echoes my sentiments. Brian says,
"Those people who develop the ability to continuously acquire new and better forms of knowledge that they can apply to their work to their lives will be the movers and shakers in our society for the indefinite future."
Acquiring knowledge and understanding is a crucial responsibility of every educator. Technology and best practices constantly evolve, making learning and self-improvement essential for students' success. Just imagine the possibilities if we continue to learn and grow! We must never stop learning.
