As a former Pre-service teacher and Para-professional (Teacher Assistant), the morning meetings are still one of my favorite parts of the day. I can still see the children entering the classroom, following a morning routine to unpack their book bags and lunch boxes before being called table by table to sit on the morning rug. My heart is so tender with these thoughts. I appreciate morning meetings even more now as a kindergarten teacher. Even more, the learning environment is in person and not following a hybrid schedule this fall. Teachers, let us set up our kindergarteners for success.
