Rachel Christine Watson has taught kindergarten for the last four years, with two in Prince George's County, Maryland, and the previous two in Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) in Maryland. Mrs. Watson is the CEO/Founder of Rachel's Heart International. This organization serves humanity through various missions, education, and wellness programs.

Mrs. Watson's adage and desire for youth are to make a difference and impact the world. In her words, "I just want to be a blessing." In 2013, Rachel enrolled in graduate school and completed a business plan project for a future venture later used to form her organization. On April 9, 2018, Rachel's Heart International established and created seven programs: Zion's Destiny, Noah's Ark, Josiah's Joy, Josiah M. Muganda Grant Fund for Peacebuilding, Priscilla's Heart, Pool of Bethesda, and Pay It Forward. A new program, Teacher's Alliance Global, was launched in 2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It focuses on the education sector and is currently expanding.

The organization celebrates all accomplishments: partnerships with donors to fundraise a little under $1.5K toward tuition and school uniforms for students attending Nyame Bekyere Christian School, a school in Ghana, West Africa. In addition, partner with a Breast Cancer survivor to discuss and share her story and educate others on living with Breast Cancer on a Facebook live broadcast, "The good, bad, and the ugly." Now, Rachel's Heart International optimistically looks forward to continually growing and expanding its programs and services by networking and connecting with persons and organizations with similar interests on social media and other platforms.

Rachel's Heart International strives to reach many nationally and globally through humanitarian efforts. Especially during times of uncertainty and when many need a beacon of light in an ever-changing world. In light of this sheer reality, it may prove impossible to achieve. What hope could a single person have to make a difference? The CEO/Founder answers: One person can make a big difference when you allow your heart to lead. One person at a time.

Rachel and her family reside in Maryland. Her husband, James, is a Child Therapist, and their two children attend middle school.
